“WHY” things you never think of….

Why do we press harder on a remote control when we know the batteries are getting weak?

Why do banks charge a few on “insufficent funds” when they know we dont have enough?

Why does someone believe you when you say there are four billion stars, but check when you say the paint is wet?

Why doesn’t glue stick to the bottle?

Why people constantly return to the refrigerator with with hopes that something new to eat will have materialized?

Why does round pizza comes in a square box?

Why are you IN a movie when you are ON TV?

Why is it that people say “slept like a baby” when babies wake up every two hours?

How come we never hear Father -in-law jokes?

Why is that no matter what color bubble bath you use the bubbles are always white?

If people evolved from apes, why are they still apes?

Do Alphabet song and Twinkle Twinkle little star have the same tune?

Why did you just try singing the two songs above?

Ha Ha Ha Ha

A study at the university of Queens land tells us that people who belong to a number of groups tends to have higher self-esteem.

So what the study says is that if we have many friends, we assume we are important enough for other people to think of us as friends and this causes a rise in our self-esteem levels. My PSYCHE works differently. I don’t need to join CLUBS, believing that I am important enough to be on my own. And that does wonders for my self-esteem levels too.

I did check my self-esteem the other day, and found that it was well within the recommended limits; not so little that I needed regular pumping, nor over flowing to the extent that I needed to see a doctor.
